MJF from HP is a similar 3D printing process to SLS and uses similar production quality materials to manufacture high quality perfromance prototypes and parts. Fast and repeatable it is a prefferred choice for manufacturing multiple parts or for low to mid volume production runs via additive manufacturing.
MJF (multi-jet-fusion) is a powder bed fusion (PBF) technology. It is similar to SLS but uses inkjet technology and UV light to fuse powdered material, binding it together to create parts layer by layer.
MJF is very fast and can produce many parts at the same time. It is seriously becoming a viable alternative to injection molding for low to mid voluem production parts.
MJF builds parts in black nylon PA 12 or glass filled nylon (PA + GF). These materials are performance plastics offering fantastic material properties and can be used for both prototypes and production parts.
Radar MFG offer Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing services. HPs game changing 3D printing technology is a type of powder bed fusion system similar to SLS. The material is also a PA (Nylon) and the technology produces great prototypes and functional parts. It is suitable for some of the most demanding applications.
Scalability
MJF 3D printing can make a single part or component as easily as dozens
or hundreds of production pieces.
Complex Geometries
Geometries can be built more easily due to the 3D printing process,
adding complexity without additional cost.
Rapid Turnaround
Parts can typically be built in 3-4 days, allowing for faster design
iterations and speed to market.
Production Parts
MJF 3D Printing is capable of producing end-use parts with near-isotropic
properties on-demand without costly or time consuming tooling.

Multi jet fussion 3D priting has a nylon PA 12 and a glass filled nylon material (PA + GF) due to the way in which the parts are built they are grey/black
Multi-jet-fusion is a rapis manufacturing process, it can build parts in as little as 2 days
You can paint them, but the surface finish is rough due to the powdered materials. If you wnat to polish the parts smooth this is labour intensive and increases the costs.
